Mika Oki is a French-Japanese visual and sound artist, living and working in Brussels. With a background in sculpture and electro-acoustic music, she explores the notion of intangible spaces and emotional landscapes through video and sound installations, using abstract sound textures, and kinetic mental images.
At the Vorn und Oben art gallery, Mika Oki’s Parhelion installation will be on show for the full three days of the weekend. Parhelion is an immersive black box experience with sound, projections and smoke developed by French electronica musician, DJ and audiovisual artist Mika Oki. It is presented in collaboration with the Leuven-based Stuk house for dance, image and sound.
