Vocalist, sound artist, and composer Antonina Nowacka’s work investigates voice as an artistic medium in relation to space and aesthetic sensitivity. Drawing from traditional music, natural wonders, and hypnagogic states, she composes performances that merge sound, architecture, and imagination to evoke a sense of vulnerability and universal beauty. With a background in the visual arts and through years of sonic explorations in natural environments, studies of various music traditions, and investigations of voice peculiarities, she has developed a unique, deeply relaxing, and hypnotic voice quality reminiscent of a theremin. She creates subtle, minimalist soundscapes that take listeners on imaginative journeys inspired by nature, space, dreams, and otherworldly happenings.
