Dennis Aycicek is a Cologne-based musician and sound artist working with noise, non-music, and post-industrial soundscapes in live contexts. His practice is shaped by heavy sound textures, empty spaces, and the residue of function, drawing on his upbringing in the post-industrial Ruhr area. Ayçiçek combines textures, audio fragments, and biographical remains with principles of cyclical structures and chaotic processes in his compositions and live sets. Together with his group Soft Rotation, he organizes regular events for experimental music in Cologne and is part of the INDUSTRIAL NRW collective.
