Her sound oscillates between ritual and atmosphere, joyfully weaving amid the mysterious, the profoundly mundane, and the devotional. As a very curious DJ with a strong interest in people’s inherent physical expression, Malu’s DJ sets are versatile interventions that intertwine sound-art collages into danceable maneuvers, softly melting spoken and operatic scenes, underwater melodies, popular songs, stretched reggaetones, dubby grounds, and primitive percussions, that surface raw emotion to be fully experienced.
