Irisplus is a Berlin-based project inspired by the Jolana Iris, a Soviet-era Czech guitar. Irisplus crafts elegantly dubbed-out, drifting folk miniatures that blend chiming guitar, soft drum machines, and smeared electronics. Their sound is mysterious, warm, and surreal—evoking DIY psychedelic influences like Woo and Deux Filles, while channeling the experimental and atmospheric spirit of Black Dice and Steven Stapleton. IRIS’s music stands out for its homespun, genre-defying approach and nostalgic, dreamlike quality.
