Carl Luis is a Berlin-based DJ whose sets move through the low-frequency territories of dub, lovers rock, dancehall, and reggae. Since 2016, he has hosted Duty Free on Cashmere Radio, a show dedicated to tracing the lineages of bass music across tempos and decades. He also co-runs Merger, a resident series at OHM, where every other month the dancefloor becomes an intimate counterweight to the relentlessness of most club nights.
