De Ambassade is the acclaimed Amsterdam-based project led by Dutch producer Pascal Pinkert (also known for Dollkraut), joined by Timothy Francis and Aniek de Rooij. Fusing haunting Dutch vocals with vintage synths and stark 80s-inspired atmospherics, the band gained cult status through their enigmatic singles and acclaimed debut album, Duistre Kamers. Their music explores themes of alienation and free expression, channeling the moody spirit of Amsterdam’s concrete suburbs while delivering a distinctive, modern take on no-wave, DIY sounds and so much more. On stage and in the studio, De Ambassade’s raw energy and mysterious presence have made them one of the most intriguing acts in the contemporary underground.
