Employee & Franco Franco is a musical project by Max Graef, a DJ and producer based in Berlin who runs TAX FREE RECORDS, and Funkycan, real name Ömür Can Kilic, who has released on TAX FREE RECORDS, Beatbude, and more. Connoting psychedelic experience in its funky looseness and a fine feel for texture, Graef and Funkycan interweave a jazzy freedom with a fetish for crooked, vintage machine grooves. Hints of exotica, synth-dub, melodic clarity, and much more make for the basic groove of Employee & Franco Franco.
