Gwen Sainte-Rose is a musician, composer, and sound artist based in Brussels. Their creations are conceived as moving sound sculptures in which the audience and the performer are immersed: variations of materials, forms, densities, spaces, and contours. They are also based on sensory experience, movement, and stillness, as well as different ways of emitting and perceiving sounds in time and space. The act of sensitive listening always guides her creations. This leads her to use a range of media: cello, voice, objects, field recordings, sound and visual installations, and radio. Her Collines / Racines album was released on By The Bluest Of Seas in 2025. Her music is a journey, an interweaving of thresholds and living matter, a political act of reconnection.
