Born in Northern Bavaria and raised in Munich where Punk was the soundtrack to his youth. Playing the drums in several bands and writing for fanzines were equal parts of the same story. Left Munich in 2000, lived in Chicago, Zurich, Hamburg and Berlin which he calls his home, since 2009. Works as an editor at the culture desk of daily german newspaper “taz”. Still writes about music. Feels at home at electronic dancefloor culture and fuses different worlds in his signature sound as a DJ while staying true to Deep House which he follows since the early 1990s. Has deejayed at Rote Sonne (Munich), Pudel Club (Hamburg), King Georg (Cologne), Monarch (Berlin).
