Natasha Pirard, from Ghent in Belgium, is an experimental electronic musician whose sound moves through emotive translation and intuitive play. Her compositions combine analog synthesis, tape loops, acoustic instruments such as the violin, voice, and field recordings. Her 2024 four-cassette release Dream Cycles sees sounds unfold according to their own internal logic, shifting through her signature tactile, warm, atmospheric sound. Her 2025 project Fernande, Cecile features deeply personal songs that emerge from memory and the traces family relationships continue to shape, developing a sonic language that seeks to articulate what words alone cannot convey. Her work explores the lineage of female musicians who have forged paths outside traditional frameworks.
