Olaf Karnik lives in Cologne and has worked for over 30 years as an author and journalist for both the written press and the radio. He has published books on African-American pop music and reggae in Germany. Buying his first dub album in 1978, he has been making records since 1985. His “Do The Wrong Thing” DJ show is broadcast on 674FM and together with some likeminded people, he has been organising the “Dub(früh)Stück” in Cologne every summer for many years.
