Singing with Ravekoor is a way to connect. Whether in the church of Saint-Gilles, Brussels, on Sunday evenings, at protests, festivals, club nights, and listening concerts. Ravekoor invites you to join a structured improvisation. Started as a wild idea from students at the Conservatoire in Brussels, Ravekoor has become a household name in Brussels’ nightlife and beyond. Without compromising on musicality or authenticity, Ravekoor grew out of the underground rave culture to become Brussels largest community-based choir, a breeding ground for emerging artists and conductors, and a safe space to sing one’s heart out. They will perform The Leaning Curve by Cornelius Cardew as well as a piece of their own. For this special occasion, Eva Goudi-Falkenbach, mezzo-soprano from Vlaams Radiokoor (Brussels Philharmonic), joins for the performance and will coach the diverse group of singers.
