European alchemists iRiAi Verlag and TRii Compiler are Alepher, who have released on TRii Musik and Stroom, and whose 2024 release Dodges Aim was released as a double tape album by TAX FREE RECORDS in 2025. The duo sends musical sketches to each other to sustain a continuous non-verbal conversation about shared interests in similar sounds and rhythms. Although hardly measurable or provable, without this constant practice of mutual listening, their music exists somewhere in between, belonging to them and also not. They create woozy, quixotic electronics that conjure liminal-zone excursions.
