Gilb’r, real name Gilbert Cohen, is a key figure in French underground electronic music. He started out his career in music in the 90s as a programmer at Radio Nova in Paris and founded Versatile Records in 1996. Versatile is still a household name within underground club music and more. Together with fellow French producer I:Cube, he is Chateau Flight, a project known for exploring the outer fringes of techno and house. Sometimes called a DJ’s DJ, Gilb’r has an encyclopedic knowledge of club music in all its forms.
