grisha223 is a Tromsø-based artist, DJ, and performer working with sound, space, and (sub)cultural critique. With a background in classical music and a deep love for raw, forward-thinking electronics, her practice moves between ambient e-violin improvisations and beat-heavy club sets, exploring the edges of contemporary sound system culture. She approaches performance with a steady curiosity for how electronic music keeps shifting and changing, and a desire to break apart the structures it inherits. Fascinated by the transformative potential of music in space, she builds her own tools, from digital controllers turned standalone instruments to a custom-built sound system, used to support a growing scene of experimental, small-scale electronic gatherings across Northern Norway. Her work builds on the queer and resistant roots of club culture, engagement with internet radio, and ongoing conversations around access, marginalization, and community.
