Mark ‘Mother’ Maxwell is a Scottish DJ and influential figure in the underground music scene. Formerly John Peel’s Radio 1 assistant, he was instrumental in bringing early dubstep to Scotland as part of the Fortified Sessions crew. Now working with Rubadub, he also runs the Heated Heads label. Renowned for his acclaimed mixes on labels like Berceuse Heroique, L.I.E.S., The Trilogy Tapes, and V I S, Maxwell is celebrated for his deep curatorial expertise and lasting impact on electronic music.
